For Registration

 Students must submit their registration details, duly filled and countersigned by the class teacher in the diary.
 Two passport-size photographs must be submitted at the time of registration.

For Clearence

 All library dues must be cleared on or before the 30th of December to avoid complications.
 After 10th January, books will not be issued unless payment is made. A fine of Rs. 2/- per day will be charged for each book issued after this date.
 A fine of Rs. 5/- per day will be imposed if books are not returned on time, especially during exams.

Issue Section

 Syllabus Books: These are issued for 7 days. Books for competitive exams can be issued for up to 10 days.
 Defaulters: Students who fail to return books on time will not be able to issue books for a period determined by how late the books were returned.
 During Holidays or Vacations: If a holiday or vacation falls between the due date, students may keep books but must return them within 2 days of the
school reopening.
 Science Students: Can issue one syllabus book at a time, along with 3-4 educational magazines.
 Commerce Students: Can issue two books at a time.
 Biology Students: Can issue one biology-related book, one from another subject, and 3-4 educational magazines.
 Previous Exam Question Papers: Available weekly in the library for reference, but cannot be taken home.

Educational Magazines:

 One magazine per subject can be issued along with a syllabus book.

Story and Novel Books:

 Class XII Students: Can issue novels and storybooks for 7 days, with the option for reissue.
 Class IX to XI Students: Can read novels and storybooks in the library’s reading section but cannot take them home.

Loss of Books:

 If a book is lost, report the issue immediately to the librarian and follow their instructions to cover the loss.

Dead Stock:

 Books categorized as dead stock are issued as part of the book bank. Students can select up to 5 books to be issued for the entire session. These
books must be returned at the time of clearance. If a book is lost, 1/4th of its cost will be recovered.

Reference Section

 Students and staff must register books if they need them for any period, even if it is short.
 More than one book can be reissued at a time, but they must be from the same subject.
 Books must be returned before leaving the reading room, and students should ensure the librarian has signed for the return.

Reading Room:

 Silence and discipline must be maintained at all times.
 Before leaving the reading room, any issued material should be returned, and magazines should be placed back on the rack.
 Chairs must be arranged quietly.
 Any student found misusing the reading room to avoid subject periods will face disciplinary action.
